Cutie Mark Crusaders: The Daredevil Cutie MarkCutie Mark Crusaders: The Daredevil Cutie Mark by fireemblemspider
“Cutie Mark Crusaders, I have an announcement to make!” the young yellow filly with the red mane announced. Apple Bloom was one of the founding members of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, a group dedicated to the discovery of its member’s special talent. She was also one of the only kids in her school without her Cutie Mark.
She was speaking to her fellow founders and members, Sweetie Belle, the younger sister to the seamstress unicorn Rarity, and Scootaloo, a young eager Pegasus who has idolized Rainbow Dash.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders had held a special meeting, which older ponies would call ‘hanging out with friends’ or ‘a play date’. However, to these three ponies, it was their mission to help each other discover their hidden talent and become the ponies they were destined to be.
“Today’s the day we finally earn our Cutie Mark!” Apple Bloom declared.
The two other fillies just stared at one another. They had been a part of this gro

Tears began to swim down Celestia’s face as she stared down the royal chalice in front of her. It sat there, tauntingly, as if to remind her of her complete failure. She had been practicing all day to move the cup with her magic, but every time she tried she couldn’t even get it to budge. She promised herself that she would learn magic by herself. She read books and watched the unicorns around her. She thought she had discovered the secret to magic, but every time she tried, it seemed that the secret eluded her. Her sobs echoed through the dining room, only to be overpowered by the sounds of the great doors being opened a few moments later.
Celestia was so consumed by the cup in front of her; she didn’t even notice the tall mare coming to her side. The image of her mother.
“Celestia?” Faust’s motherly voice spoke as she pulled the crying filly towards her, embracing the child in her forelegs. “Whatever is the matter, honey?”
Hey, guys Fireemblemspider here. Hoping you all had a Happy Holidays and saying that I’m back, baby!
Anyway, for the two of you who are still reading this, I’m just going to briefly explain that things are going to be different from this point on.
Change Number 1: I will no longer be doing Crossover fics.
Now before you start panicking, yes, I will be finishing up Princess Celestia: Sorceress Supreme and Ghost Rider. I may eventually continue on, but as it stands right now, I just have no interest in continuing. Especially, where there are better men and women who are currently working on these projects that are far more talented than I. They just bring more to them and all around are better writers than I am currently.
If you are still reading this, I will still be writing. However, I will be mostly doing short separate stories rather than longwinded stories. They will be more focused around the canon of the show, rather than trying to meld two universes together. I'd also would like to do some original stuff focusing on my own creations and see how we do there. I'm not expecting much, but you never know. It might turn out decent.
Change Number 2: Every so often I will do something completely different with my writing.
This will provide me with some challenges that I hope will be able to make me a better writer. When and what exactly I will be doing is a mystery and I will give more details as they develop. I have a few ideas in mind, but let’s finish my bigger projects first.
Change Number 3: I will be heavily promoting other writers, through reviews.
Yes. I will promote better writers than I mostly through reviews. I will then post said reviews on my blog, every week. These reviews will range from good to bad and everything in between. If you want me to review a story and give my honest thoughts, please leave the title in the comment below. I won’t just be review MLP: FIM, but most of it will probably be just that. The limit is 5000-10000 words. This is so I can quickly read and review them. I will still be doing much larger reviews every month. I will also be doing a series of smaller reviews that will be about stories less than 5000 words. These reviews are free and I will be doing as many as I can. There are a few rules though. I don’t do mature content. And I don’t do incomplete stories. More rules may follow as I think of them or are pointed out to me. These rules may be subject to change as well.
That’s all for the news update. You probably are not reading this, but if you are, thank you and have a pleasant day.
